Spanish Style Garlic Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 100 grams of white mushrooms
  • 100 grams of brown mushrooms
  • 10 cloves of garlic (peeled)
  • 100 ml of olive oil
  • Parsley for garnishing
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Wash the mushrooms thoroughly, drain and cut into halves. In a large pan, sauté the mushrooms and garlic in three table spoons of the olive oil for 5 to 7 minutes on medium heat. Stir continuously to avoid burning the garlic cloves. Do not overcook the mushrooms; they must be partially cooked and tender. Set the pan aside to cool for 5 to ten minutes. Drain all the excess of liquid from the pan.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Distribute the mushrooms with the garlic on four individual oven-proof gratin dishes and add a touch of salt to taste. Pour the remaining olive oil into the gratin dishes. Place the dishes uncovered in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Take the dishes from the oven and set aside to cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley leaves and serve the garlic mushrooms with your favorite type of bread.
